Z.Z. Hill - You Better Take Time / It Can Be Fixed

Description
Z.Z. Hill brings the direct, human pull of rhythm and blues to this Mhr Records single, cataloged as MH 224. “You Better Take Time” leads with a gentle reminder in its title, while “It Can Be Fixed” turns the thought toward repair and possibility. The pairing feels rooted in a rich blues tradition, where everyday troubles and hard-won hope have long found a voice in song. Hill’s name sits comfortably in that tradition: the music’s emotional language is plainspoken, but never small. Across these two titles, the thread is time, care, and the possibility of setting things right.
